Paul Evans
Head Instructor Paul Evans is a graduate of the internationally recognized Nova Scotia College of Art & Design. In 1994 he graduated with a Visual Communication Degree in Design, as well as a Fine Art Degree. He has experience in the areas of branding, advertising, design, photography, illustration, music, songwriting, voice over, scriptwriting, creative writing, jingle writing, video production and web development. Since 1994 Paul has operated his own business, and has held various positions as an Art Director, Graphic Designer, Package Designer and Exhibit Designer. He has worked with photographers, videographers, copywriters, illustrators and web developers. Paul has worked with clients in areas such as Telecommunications, IT, E-Learning, Business, Entertainment, Travel & Tourism, Law, Real Estate, Healthcare, Sports, Publishing, Food Service, Retail, Non-Profit, and Packaging. Clients Paul has worked with throughout his career include NBTel, Bruncor, Bell Aliant, Innovatia, Source Atlantic, PetroService, New Brunswick Museum, Vito?s Restaurants, 3Mile Entertainment Complex, Provincial Publications, Innovations Media Inc., VideoNET, Ginkgo Systems, Saint John Theatre Company, Neptune Publishing, Mosher Chedore, Waypak Packaging, and many more. In addition Paul has taken on various roles throughout his career as Event Coordinator (Flood Relief Telethon in support of the Canadian Red Cross), Marketing Director (Marathon By The Sea), Sponsor (Rally of Hope, Fundy Bay Festival, Festival By The Sea, and East Coast Music Awards).Blaine LeRoy
Software Instructor Blaine LeRoy is a West Coast import to Saint John. Originally from British Columbia,Blaine moved to the Maritimes in 1998 and is a self taught computer animator who has been working professionally in the field for 7 years with Innovative Video Solutions. He specializes in 3D computer animation, but polished up his 2d skills to teach the animation for kids classes. Blaine has spent his entire working life in the arts, starting off as a radio DJ in high school before becoming lead singer in a touring country band on the West Coast. In his spare time he paints, does woodwork, has written an as yet unpublished novel, and is heavily involved in the Saint John Theatre Company, appearing on stage for all their musical productions to date, and working as sound designer for many non musical productions.
