Can I sign up after the session has already started ?
Yes, you can, providing the course is not sold out. We deduct missed lessons from the overall price of the course.
How can I pay for my course ?
All part-time courses are due prior to course start, however, we offer 3 equal payments over the session time frame (12 weeks). Payments can be made by cash, debit and credit cards. Payment plans require 2 post-dated cheques along with the initial payment.
What happens, when the weather is bad ?
During the winter months, we pay attention to bad road conditions and we do cancel classes from time to time, since we do not want anybody to get hurt trying to get here. We will inform you by phone, if classes are canceled.
Any classes that we cancel due to bad weather are made up at the end of the semester. This way, you will not miss any classes you paid for.
What happens, when an instructor is sick ?
The same as with bad weather, we make up the classes that are missed due to an instructor's sickness.
What happens, if I am late for my course ?
Courses run for the times specified and most instructors teach multiple courses per day and can therefore not stay after class to make up for the time you lost due to lateness. We encourage all students to spend additional time at the centre to talk to other students and instructors and to just find out, what else is happening. We all have similar interests - why not share them ?
What about refunds ?
We generally do not offer refunds, unless we are unable to provide the service we promised. If the class you signed up for is not for you, we encourage you to try something else and we will give you a programming credit. To date, this has never been an issue and we have a very high rate of returning customers.
