The Atlantica Centre for the Arts is proud to unveil its new permanent location at 45 Hanover Street, as well as the new part-time programming line-up for youth and adults for the fall of 2009.
We are very excited about our new facility and invite you to drop by for a tour.
The Fall Session will kick off on September 21st and will wrap up the first week of December, in order to give everybody enough time to prepare for the Christmas season. The winter session will kick off in January, after the regular school year has kicked in again.
Our goal with all of the programs is to provide a quality learning experience and for participants to fully enjoy themselves. Instructors have been carefully chosen to provide a balance between curriculum and the ever important fun factor.
One of the new courses offered is Introduction to Fashion Design and Illustration, which serves as a pre-course for a new full-time program that our college will be starting in the fall of 2010. Although anyone can take this course to learn more about fashion design, it is primarily designed for people that have an interest of choosing this field as their career, as it gives them an opportunity to explore, if this is what they would like to do on a permanent basis.
Our Music Lessons students will be excited about our new lesson rooms. Drop by to check them out. Please note, that we have had our first rate increase in 3 years for music lessons with rates being on par with standard rates applied throughout the city. We still do not charge any registration or membership fees and we provide you with a receipt for a tax credit purposes.
